Getting US passport and visa immediately after oath

Hello ,
I have a critical situation . My oath is on April 3rd and I have to be in India April 5th . It looks weird to me , but is there any way I can travel to India after the oath ? To get passport one day around and India travel visa by 4th ? I tried researching few places did not find answers . But may be this forum for will have answer for me. Kindly let me know if anyone had this situation . I am not sure I can postpone my oath ceremony. Looking for answers .

i don't know where you are located, but a guy at my oath had the same situation and simply went into New York passport center and got it the same day.

he had to show his "emergency" travel plans and tickets.
