I am on H1B work visa with green card application pending from 2011 (Category: Eb2 & I-140 approved for 5+ years). The green card was filed for Software Engineering position.
If I choose to switch my career to ?Consulting? or ?Product Management? with a new employer (note change in position titles and possibly job duties) and my new employer is willing to file for my 2 stages of green card, then will my priority date be retained?
