B1B2 6 months,help

Hi guys I was given 6months validity for b1b2 n I had mentioned 1week of visit to USA for exam .I now have 3 months of internship letters from USA !
Can I stay for 3 months?

PS: i need to go again for interviews in the year end.

Better to stick to what you said earlier during interview. If you over stay, you may have problem in your next visit.
