Grace period after graduation while OPT is processing

Hi, would really appreciate some clarification on my situation.

I graduated last last week and my I765 application was received by USCIS on 5/8/18. The processing time online for my service center is 2.5-5 months.

Does the 60 day after graduation grace period still apply to me or is it extended while my case is being processed?

Does the 60 day after graduation grace period still apply to me or is it extended while my case is being processed?

As long as you apply for OPT within 60 days of graduation, you stay in status while waiting for OPT.
