Is it safe to apply for Green Card in 5th year of my H1B?

I already completed 3 year 4 months on my H1B. I got an offer from Indeed but they will start my GC only after one year from my date of joining. There are some bad reviews in Glassdoor about their immigration team(Global Mobility) as well. Recently I heard about Green Card rejections as well. Labor seems to be taking from 6 months to 9 months. What are the odds that I will be in trouble if they process my GC after 4.5 years of my H1B?
