Good luck for your C-Section too.
Hope you will get your GC in hand before your TN status expires.
If not, kindly renew it so that you will not be Out of Status.

          • Update! RFE

Hey guys filed for AOS marriage based F1 student out of status married to US citizen. Our timeline is as follows.

            Mailed from USPS: 6/08/18
            Tracking delivered: 6/11/18
            4 text/email notification:6/25/18
            Biometrics Appointment completed 7/16/2018
            Requests for information received: 7/16/2018

Me and husband both made a mistake. He did not send in a translated copy of birth certificate and I didn't' send in tax transcripts my income also did not qualify to support a household size of 4. I'm currently 9 months pregnant and forgot to count the baby as apart of the household(pregnancy brain at its finest). Luckily for me my brother is willing to be a cosponsor for the I 864 and hopefully we will get all the additional paperwork in the mail Monday morning. So previously I thought it might be possible to use a 797 for my husband to renew his driver's license but our local dmv will only accept an i-551.

I called USCIS and spoke with a level 2 support agent who advised me it may be possible once all our evidence was received for my husband to make an appointment through infopass at our local immigration office and request an I-551 also known as an adit stamp. Has anyone else received this information? I was told that in essence an I-551 is a temporary green card valid for one year that is a stamp on your passport. When I've done online searches I've only seen this used by individuals whose green cards had expired and were waiting for a new one. Has anyone else been told something similar? I figure it won't hurt for us to try especially if it speeds up the process.

I stated that I'm pregnant and my C-Section is scheduled for Tuesday and after the baby is born I don't think it takes more than 30 days for us to receive the baby's official birth certificate. I'm wondering if I could send that in as more evidence or if we would just have to wait until our interview and bring that paperwork then.

              Thanks @ngjaxguy and @hpx3000.
And thanks @UScitizenFilingforspouse for compiling those links (and thanks to everyone who contributed). I have been looking through them for a couple of weeks now. And they are definitely very helpful. I will probably still need some feedback/advice from the forum about my evidence.

On a different note, @mcreek42 and @mari_elle, any update on your packages?

@Britican - we have a similar time line. I don't know if you are as surprised with it as I am. Good luck with your C-section!!!! August is going to be an eventful month for you huh!

I just wanted to clarify that ?case is ready to be scheduled for an interview? is not the same as ?Interview scheduled?. You could be at the ?Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview? for a few days, weeks, months, a year or two in Houston, TX.

Your field office was one of the offices affected by a system glitch that prompted the NBC to schedule interview for people who filed in January 2018 or after, instead of continuing to schedule cases filed in 2017.

So yes, for some this meant they had their GC in hand between 90 to 180 days from their PD. But for those cases from 2017, it means unnecessary and prolonged processing times.

This is what the ?Interview scheduled? case status update looks like.

How promptly your interview is scheduled depends entirely on your field office.

Yes, you were right! I was hesitant to do a walk-in biometrics because of the horror stories that I have read from forums in Los Angeles office; however, my husband encouraged me and told me that we would only know if we would give it a try. To my surprise, the office only had two people ahead of me so the guard let me in and they let me do a walk-in.

Praise God for the speedy processing in our field offices! I can't wait to move to the next step. I am hoping to get an interview notice or even just an update on my online account.
