Expired Passport Renewal
Hello,
I am a GC holder. My Indian passport expired in November 2013 and now I have to go to India on my sister's wedding in September. I will be applying my passport at SAN FRAN CKGS
1) Do I need any special/specific documents since my passport expired years ago (2013).
2) What is the average timeline
3) Can I expedite the process by opting for tatkal service by showing the wedding cards and engagement ceremony pictures
4) I spoke to a Indian travel agent and he said he can get me my passport in 30 days.
My mother had a stroke and she was hospitalized in Jan/Feb and my family members did NOT tell me about her condition during the stroke as I found out about it couple of weeks later when she started recovering. Can I show the medical paperwork of my mother to get tatkal service?
