Hi,
I applied for OCI card for my daughter (born in 2008) and sent the application to CKGS. Due to family emergency my wife went to India along with my daughter with her PIO card. After a week CKGS asked me to send her original PIO card to issue the OCI card, and we sent the PIO card to CKGS. CKGS sent the PIO and OCI to my US mailing address, but i haven't received them (UPS) and i lost both of them. Now i am in India due to job transfer from US to India. Kindly let me know how to proceed with the OCI card for my daughter? Can i apply for an OCI card under "OCI in Lieu of Lost PIO Card" category? if so should i go to FRRO office in India (I am currently located in Hyderabad). Kindly advice.
