Hello,
I filled out i-130 for my father and received a case number from the National Visa Service. The problem is that I realized that my mother?s information is not on that case and when I called I was shocked to find out that I needed to fill another i-130 for my mother as well.
This is a big disappointment to say the least and a huge miss since I thought that my mother will be part of my father application by the virtue of the two being married and will be considered as a ?derivative? a word that I read somewhere and got confused by.
What are my options now to expedite my case? Can I claim/ ask to get this case expedited because my father?s application is already pending document review? What can you folk recommend me? I really really appreciate your help in advance!
