8/18/17 I-140 field
8/28/7 I-140 approved under Premium Processing
9/15/17 I-485 Received by USCIS
10/20/17 Fingerprint Notice Received
10/26/17 Fingerprints done walked in early
1/11/18 Case Transfered
1/31/17 EAD received
3/28/18 Case is Ready to Schedule Interview
4/2/18 Appointment Notice Received for May 2
5/2/18 Employment Based Interview
@Santa Ana, CA 9:30am
7/10/18 I-485 Approved
7/12/18 Card Mailed to me
7/13/18 USPS picked up card and tracking number given
7/16/18 GC delivered at lawyers office
7/17/18 GC in my hands

Yeah.. would love to hear a high level overview of your credentials.. so as to check whether I might qualify for EB1A. I think I do.. but I am trying to figure it out..

Why took so long between interview and approve I-485 almost 2 month? did they not approve it on spot? What happened?

I was not approved on spot, although my case had all the documents the officer mentioned he needed to wait for the background check. He was very positive gave me the letter that says case held for review and stated that standard is 120 days but that it would be soon. Well 2 months later was not soon enough but im glad its over

No we didn't file concurrently however the i-140 was done under premium processing so I feel my i-485 moved quicker as well. It was category EB3

Finally got my employment based Green Card

Ok Folks, I have been an almost daily reader of this forums for I-485 AOS. Finally my Journey is over and I just wanted to share with all of you my time line. As always, be patience (easy to say I know!) so here it is:
Country: Mexico
PD: 12/10/2015

I-140 filed on Aug 11th, 2016 (did not fill up I485 concurrently because I was not at the prevailing wage at that time)
I-485 Filed on Sept. 12th 2017 (got the necessary wage raise to finally fill the form)
Biometrics taken on October 13th, 2018

Nov 28th, 2017 your form I485 was transferred to another office for processing
NoV 29th, 2017 your form I485 was transferred your form I495 to another USCIS office that news has jurisdiction over your case
March 12th, 2018 We are ready to schedule your form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE or adjust status, for an interview.
AGAIN! ... May 25th, 2018 We are ready to schedule your form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE or adjust status, for an interview.
On June 29th We scheduled an interview for your form I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE or adjust of status

My interview took place on August 6th, 2018. Very simple interview, the IO was very professional and very kind with me an my family, very straight forwards YES and NO questions from the I485 form.
He did not ask me anything about my Job description since according to him the company I work for is very reliable.
At the end of the interview he approved us right at the spot, he even called me next day to let me know that my case was fully approved.

I took a look to the website on August 7th and my status changed to ?MY NEW CARD IS BEING PRODUCED?. I?m so happy now!!! No more long waits and headaches, my journeys is finally over.
