No. I raised a service request on 1 April because it was out of normal processing time, but the next day they changed the processing time from 6.5 to 7 months so it was back in normal processing time. It will be back out of normal processing time again in two days. Ha! I think those of us who are still waiting should just look forward to getting an interview scheduled, I guess.

I'm not sure why you say that! it doesn't make sense. So, I have to wait 1 more year for my GC interview without EAD ??

        • Today is the 221st day since I filed my I765 & I485. Still nothing...My pd is Sep14...Just filed I131 last week, havent received receipt number yet. Does anyone know if I will still be able to receive combo card even I file EAD and AP separately?

Just a bit of an exaggeration, that's all. Haha! But, in all seriousness we're getting close to the short side of some field office interview scheduling.

Don't take my word for it, but if they process them in order, it's likely you'll receive your interview before you receive a decision on the i131. Unless they add it to your already received case, which may delay your EAD even more. I guess that's not really a good answer. It probably would've been best to not file the i131 at this time. Unless it's a family emergency, then you should request an expedite.

                          • Hi Everyone,

Getting desperate here and looking for advice. Anyone actually managed to file for an expedited request for medical emergency?

My Grandfather (Sponsor) is going to have an important surgery at the end of May and thought we could go visit him without any problems as we had applied for an AOS + Combo card for my wife (the Applicant) in September.

Adjusting from F-1, married to USC.

                            Filing location: NY, NY
                            Filing Center: National Benefits Center

PD: Sept 20 2018 (we sent the package on Sept 6th but had a payment issue the first time...)
                            Fingerprinting notice: Oct 1 2018
                            Fingerprinting accepted: Oct 9 2018
Case ready to be scheduled for interview: Feb 11 2018
Filed for Outside of Normal processing time I-765: March 28 2019
Escalate to Tier 2 Officer and 2nd Outside Normal processing time I-765: April 29 2019
Filed for Outside of Normal processing time I-131: April 29 2019

To leave the country, my wife would need her EAD prior to May 21st...

                            Thanks guys

                              • Anybody filling in Washington DC field office? My husband just received his EAD...here's his deadline for those September filers who are still waiting for their EAD or for those who got an approval letter, but USCIS has not send your cards yet:

Washington DC field office; residence in Woodbridge, VA
                                Filed: I-765, I-485, I-130, I-102
Marriage based to US citizen AOS, B2 (visa overstay for 26 years)
Married for 13 years, together for 20 years, 2 children together

                                PD:9/27/18
                                Biometrics: 11/1/18 (Alexandria, VA)
Case is ready to be scheduled for an interview: 3/12/19 (this was the first update that we received since the biometrics...no updates regarding fingerprinting processed, nothing at all)
                                I-765 approved: 3/18/19
                                I-765 NOA in the mail:3/21/19
                                * I called USCIS twice because we never received a notice that my husband's EAD card was sent to production after we received the I-765 notice. I initially called after 2 weeks and they told me that the card can take 30 days to be sent to production. Then I called on 4/18/19 (a month after approval) and the representative opened a service request.
Service request opened for I-765: 4/18/19
Card was sent to production: 4/22/19
                                Card was mailed: 4/25/19
Card arrived in the mail 4/29/19

It took my husband 40 days after we received the I-765 NOA approval to get his actual EAD card and we didn't even request a travel authorization. It looks like someone at USCIS dropped the ball and forgot to send his EAD to production. Now it has been 49 days since his status changed to interview ready to be scheduled. Any other Washington DC filers out there waiting to have an interview or recently got an interview notice? Please share your timeline. Thank you!
