  • Middle name field in dv lottery

    Hello,

In the name fields on online application form there?re ?first, middle and last? name fields.
My name on passport is Mohamed Ahmed Khalil Ahmed Elkhaiat.
What should I have written in the fields? as I applied using ?Mohamed Ahmed Elkhaiat? and I figure that would disqualify me.
Also anyway I get around that or should I just try next year?

I couldn?t find this question anywhere, would appreciate your kind answer.

what is your given name? (that would be your first name)

what is your family/father/last name? that would be your last name.

Some cultures do not have middle names, and it is fine.

Generally, you follow your birth certificate. Your family name should reflect exactly your birth certificate. For your other names, if you don't have a 'middle' (many places don't), you can include you other names as your first or as the middle. As long as you pick one way and stick with it, you should be fine.
