Interview after i-140 approval
Hello all,
I filled I-140 and I-485 concurrently in late June/2018 (priority date 06/21/2018, petition as EB1-A, and I am originally from South America). So far, that's what I have:
- Biometric screening: July/2018.
- Premium processing upgrade for I-140: 10/29/2018
- I-140 approved (no RFE): 11/01/2018, and I received the notice in the mail the following week.
- No other updates from I-485 since then.
- Visa bulletins from both November and December show dates for filling on June 01,2018, which is only 20 days earlier than my priority date.
My question is: how long does it take (on average) between I-140 approval and the interview? My process is being analyzed in Nebraska Service Center.
Also, does anybody know if and how the backlog in the EB1 category will affect my process if my priority date is now 20 days after the one in the visa bulletin, but was current when I first filled the petition?
