Naturalization Ceremony for Dec 5, 2018 postponed!

Since Dec 5, 2018 was declared a national day of mourning in remembrance of President George H. W. Bush, with all Federal offices being closed, our Naturalization Ceremony was cancelled. We received a call from the Lawrence, MA field office yesterday, Dec 4, notifying us about this. We were also told that the new date for the Ceremony has yet to be determined, but a good possibility might be the end of Jan 2019.

I'll post updates once I hear more.

We had our Oath Ceremony on Jan 15, 2019, despite the Government shutdown. There were 996 folks in total who became US Citizens that day. It was well-organized and attended (Lowell Auditorium, Massachusetts).
