Could you clarify the question for my status?

Spouse I94 is expiring in April before our visas due to passport expiration. Have valid EAD/AP from EB1C. Renewal of EAD is planned for June. In between should we extend I94 by any means or not needed since EAD is valid.

Any information would be helpful.

A valid I94 is only needed to make your stay in the US legal. Being in AOS allows one to stay in the US until adjudication without the necessity for other means of conferring legal status. So, the answer is no need to get a fresh I94.
