I’m working with a company and I’m getting paid from a third party payroll. The company wants to file green card for me. Is it mandatory to be on my company payroll and getting paid directly in order to file for Green Card?

    Thanks for your help.

Nope. In fact you need not be even employed by that company (or for that matter even be in the US) for the employer to file a GC petition on your behalf.
Just an opinion; Not legal advice.

Is it common to wait for more than 30 days after your case for AOS is approved? I feel like something is not very clear. My status is also not updated but I have the paper notifiction for approval. Is it common and what should I do to solve this problem? My case was in EB2
