First sorry if this is wrong page to put my question and kindly redirect me to the right page.
Here's my story, I am studying at University of Cincinnati and was travelling to India from Chicago. I booked Finnair and my flight itinerary was Chicago-Paris-Helsinki_Delhi. But I did not know nor the airlines told me that to travel from Paris to Helsinki I would need a Schengen visa even thought I do not wish to go outside the airport and was only flying from Paris to Helsinki airport. Because of this I was denied boarding at Paris and was deported back to India with a deportation stamp on my passport.
Now I am worried if it would cause any trouble when I return to USA at the port of entry as my passport has a deportation stamp. Any recommendation or advise would be appreciated,
