Case scheduled for interview notification

Hi friends, thanks for all the info on this page, they are really helpful. My friend received a notification that his case has been scheduled for interview but no date given yet. The notice said he will be sent a mail that will tell the date and the other informations. His question are this:
1. How long does it take to get the mail after d notification?

2. What and what do you think he needs to go along with to the interview.

I just received the notice for my stepson. My wife is very excited. The notice said that they will work with the Burma (Myanmar) embassy to get an appointment date. The notice said nothing else. Being that he is only 14, no police report is needed. He only needs a medical exam, immunizations, and current photographs. Nothing else.

I seem to remember that once my wife made it to this point, it only took about two weeks before an appointment was set. She arrived in August.
