EB1A - I140 approved waiting for Consular processing

Hi Forum,

I have my I140 approved under EB1A and awaiting appointment date to be set by NVC.
Will the US companies provide me with an offer letter based on my approved I140? please do let me know.
Couple of them said I need to be in the US for them to give out the offer letter. Please help here. Thanks in advance - Suns
