My timeline is similiar to yours. My case is fairly straight forward. Wonder why it?s slower.

Just Called USCIS today and I feel super lucky/relieved that the representative was able to tell me that my case has been transferred to the local office. Not sure when it happened and the online status has never been updated, but at least I know it's been moving

That's great news. May I ask what exactly did you ask the officer? I had thought about calling but did not, assuming they wouldn't tell me anything since I am within the processing time. TIA

Quick Update

I got an RFIE on 12th Feb. I sent the response to RFIE on 25th and today status changed to RFIE response received.

Anybody have an idea, if NBC keeps the application till they process the EAD/AP or would they send our files to the local office before issuing EAD?

I think it depends on the mood of the representative tbh and that's why I feel lucky. I have tried calling them twice before yesterday and they didn't tell me anything useful. But yesterday, I told him that my online status has not changed for a month since the biometrics, he put me on hold for a minute and then indicated that my case is with the local office now. Good luck

Anyone had trouble walking in for the Biometrics prior to schedule. Im wondering if I should go or wait till app. Anyone from the West Palm Beach office?

Yes. i used the I-797 , my husband passport, the marriage certificate and some bill for extraproof of address.

I got an update on my case yesterday that my case is ready to be Scheduled for an interview.

Does that mean everything is good with my paperwork and hopefully no RFE or anything delays in future?

Typically how long after this status would they schedule the interview?

I got really confused now by USCIS's customer service.... I just hung up with them cause I got a couple of "inactivity notifications" in Email with different last action dates on it. So I called them to ask for clarification. Today the lady told me that my case HAS NOT been transferred to the local office yet.... and my last TRUE action date was when they sent me the courtesy letter. So I really don't know who to believe now.

So I called again and they transferred me to tier 2. I received a call back and they confirmed that my case is still with NBC under processing... So frustrating ((
