H1 CoS to H4 EAD
Both, my husband (filed in Dec 2018) and my (filed in Sep 2018) H1 extension is currently in process ( expired in Dec 2018 ). My husband has an I140 but my 6yr period will end by June 2019. What are my options to convert to H4 EAD
1. If my husband gets his extension approved before mine, can I abandon my extension petition and apply for H4Ead - in which case I cannot work until I get my EAD?
2. If my extension petition is rejected, can I apply for H4 EAD without leaving the US?
3. If both our extensions are approved but I don’t get my EAD before the end of my 6yr period, will I have to leave the US or just stop working until I get my EAD?
Any help is greatly appreciated - just trying to figure out the possible avenues in every scenario.
