I think I read a post where the system updated until USPS picked up the GC. Good luck.
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

This happened to me. Once the USPS picked I the card, I received the USCIS status update about the approval etc.

Hi, I got my interview on January 17th, we got approved on the spot, althought IO wasn't sure if somebody else will check it after him, told us we will receive the card soon. No update on website or app since then, but I'm not worried since it has been only one work day and now it's weekend.

By "approved on the spot " what do you mean? Did they say im gonna reccomend for approval? Also on the paper they give you there is only 3 options and none of them are "you are approved" the office usually says ill recomend this for approval, which means he has to go over it with a surpervisor.

Okay, now may I start to worry. He didn't gave us any paper. But in our file he stamped like two or three times with red stamp Approved.

And he definitely said he recommends approval but wasn't sure if some supervisor will go over the file after him.

He did not stamp my papers, but spent sometimes telling us how to prepare for the permanent GC and what evidence to collect to renew the conditional GC. He said almost 3 times "I will approve the case", but mentioned nothing about a supervisor.

Do you think the shutdown affects the processing?

So you got a paper in hand after interview, or nothing, just like us?

Maybe your IO forgot to mention supervisor. Or he doesnt need somebody else to go through the case after him. Do you have any updates through web/app/text message?

I think I read that USCIS is funded through the fees from applications we submitted, so shutdown shouldnt affect it, but I'm not 100% sure.
