Year of Birth Wrong on OCI

    Year of Birth Wrong on OCI

    I have my year of birth wrong on my OCI card( same as year of applying OCI) . Everything else matches.
    I had applied for OCI with renunciation and the I had submitted it correctly. But ckgs has messed up while generating the document.
    Is it OK to travel OCI?
    Given the painful steps and costs in getting OCI I am hesitant to reapply.
    Anyone with similar issue.

    Use misc service

    You don't have to re-apply. Just use Miscellaneous services. The cost is only $25, but the CKGS service fee and postage adds up.

      Just call them. This is their mistake and they should fix for free
