  • Dallas or elsewhere?

4 weeks ago my wife and I mailed our N-400 to Dallas
Today we had our fingerprints done.
I checked the USCIS wait times.
I do see the processing time for Dallas is 16 months plus.
    We live in Orlando, Florida.
If I change the processing location to Orlando, the time frame drops to 9 months.
There was no option to file at Orlando.
So why do they show an office with processing times?
Is it that once filed the case then transfers to the local office and if so, is it their time frame we use?
Just curious to see where we are in this line.
    Thank you

mine ( Dallas) shows even worse, I gave my fingerprints a day before you but on my account says that completion time is 25 months, 16 months to be the minimum.... hopefully it goes faster
