L2 EAD : I have applied EAD individually. But my status of EAD shows as G28 rejected,

The current status of my application shows as
Your Current Status: Form G-28 Was Rejected Because It Was Improperly Filed

But i do not need to submit any G-28 as I have filed it myself(without any help from lawyer). Please advise if I have to contact back USCIS or is this a normal process because my application does not have/need a G28.
