finding restaurant in California.

I am Jasmine form India but now live in California with my husband. He is a an software engineer.
I know little about California. I am finding a good Indian restaurant where i can get food and sweet.

Can any one help me..please?

California is a big place, and there are probably a couple hundred Indian restaurants here. Do you prefer Northern Indian or other Indian-type food?
I prefer Northern Indian, but if you tell us in what city you live, I can recommend a couple of popular Indian locations. If you are in the Silicon Valley area, there is a nice place on Main Street in Half Moon Bay.
