Masters' - Post completion- Job seeking requirements

I am a recent graduate from Northeastern University, Boston, and currently on my Post-OPT status, and awaiting my EAD approval. My EAD starts on August 15, 2022. My query is, how long am I eligible to stay in the US once my EAD starts if am unable to seek the right Job?

EAD only determines if you're allowed to work. What is your immigration status (current visa plus any adjustment application you have made)?
