I am an Indian citizen, presently in US on J1 visa with my J2 dependents.
My J1 and my families J2 visa are expiring on 30 Oct 2014.
I have booked my return ticket for 02 Nov 2014, by Lufthansa airlines via Frankfurt to Delhi. I chose this date for return travel because as per info on German consulate website, Indian Nationals do not require Airport Transit visa if they are returning from USA after using their visa, and the return is happening within 4 days of expiry date of valid US visa. And I will be transiting through Frankfurt (5 hours stay) on Nov 3, 2014, this is the 4th day after expiry of my J1 visa.
Please advice if I still require a Transit visa for Germany.
