Returning to US with passport expiring within 4 months

Hello,
I am travelling to India for 2 weeks with valid H1B, but my passport expires in Jan 2016. Will that cause any issue at port of entry-Chicago?? Should my passport be valid for atleast 6 month while entering into US?

Hi,

I have same scenario (for my minor son with Indian passport).

I read this US-CBP document that states that India is exempt from six-month passport validity rule for entering US.

Want to confirm if that's the case from someone who travelled.
