green card holder

HI! I have a question to ask that I am holding a green card which is valid 2years , it will be expired in year 2008.I want to back and visit my Mom in vietnam within 2months and when I return to the US there is any problem for me to entry US with a valid green card.Because as I heard on the news it said that beginning January 23,2007 all green card holder return to the us must hold a re-entry permit instead of green card.if that new is true how long will it take for applying re-entry permit?appreciated for your soonest reply

There is no such thing. As you long as you have valid green card, you can enter US and you don't need reentry permit.
