Can MRV receipt number be used in separate profile?

Hi,

As we know, these days, it is very hard to get US Visa interviews in India. I am connected to multiple groups to get some help. Saw multiple people posting that they are getting VISA interviews very easily with the help of an agents.

I am not sure how agents are doing it, but to do so, they need to get our CGIFederal account credentials. I am curious that the receipt number that is there within the account, can it be misused? I mean stolen by an agent and used in some other account to book appointments?

Answer: Definitely NO. Receipt can not be transferred to another account for sure. It will be generated for particular account and can be used for them only.
