Transit Visa Question

I'm planning for my first vacation to India since I came to USA. I'm not that much knowledgeable on travel rules and stuff. I learned flying on British Airways needs a Transit Visa. BTW I have a expired visa stamp in my passport and new H1 renewal. So, while traveling to India via London requires a transit visa? What are the best routes without any hassles. Please help.

Hi,

I am travelling to India via London, my current stamped H1B visa has expired, and I have my new I797 with me in original. I have a valid stamped US B1/B2 visa and I have a valid stamped Canadian tourist visa.

I am not sure if at London airport there will be any issue during my transit. I have layover of upto 7 hours in my flights at London.

Kindly advise.
