incorrect Year of Birth of Mother - Spouse dependent visa

Hi,

I have submitted the application for spouse dependent visa(UK), however i have noticed that in have put incorrect year of birth of my mother on the application. Will my application be rejected because of this? Can i write an cover letter mentioning the correct year of birth along with a photo id proof?
Can someone please advise best way forward?
The application has been submitted and paid. i have my biometrics appointment in 4 days now.
