I need some advice and clarification regarding a UK Skilled Worker Visa application.
I will be applying for a Skilled Worker Visa soon, and I’ve been trying to understand the actual processing time, as the information online seems a bit unclear.
I’ve checked the UK GOV website, and it gives a general timeframe, but I’ve read many different experiences where the decision took much longer (or sometimes faster). This makes it hard to plan things properly, especially around work start dates and relocation.
I’m particularly interested in knowing:
Whether applying inside or outside the UK makes a big difference
If using the priority service is really worth it
Whether delays are common even when all documents are correct
If anyone has applied recently and is willing to share their timeline or experience, I would really appreciate it. Hearing real cases would help reduce a lot of stress and uncertainty.
