Please Help! Incoming Interview & Affidavit of support question
Dear Friends,
We have an incoming Green Card interview for adjustment of status through diversity visa lottery in a few days.
I am not sure whether I should fill an I-864 "affidavit of support" form when I go there, I think it is for family based AOS applications but I am not sure.
Second, because I am a student and I was allowed to work part time only, the income I earned was between %100 and %125 poverty lines, do not met above %125 income criteria but once we include my wife's income, we fulfill this requirement.
My question is do we have to bring this form with us interview and can we fill this form together with my wife and include her earnings as well?
Last, Do we have to bring our tax returns?
As we all know, because IRS hacked recently we can't order tax transcripts online and we don't have enough time to obtain copies of tax returns. What should we do?
