Father /Grandfather - Filing two petitions for the same child
I am a Liberian who is a green card holder and planning on applying for citizenship in January 2016. I have a 16 year old daughter who is currently in Liberia and I will be including her on my N400. The issue is that her mother is saying that my kid's grandfather applied to send for her as a adopted grand kid but the petition is stuck because they do not have prove of the adoption. My I file a petition I-130 for my kid now what are the consequences of having two petition in the system. Also is there any advantage or disadvantage to filing the I-130 now versus waiting to become a citizen and then filing the petition. Thanks for your time.
