  • An Urgent Question

    Hello,
the good friend of mine is an asylum applicant. His case is still being processed. He wants to travel to a third country to see his family meantime.I read an immigration law that people of this category can travel and will be permitted to enter the states if they obtain advance parole. However, it also says that this advance parole doesn't guarantee his entering without any complications. So it kinda sounds like a contradiction.
Does anybody know if he obtains an advance parole and travels to a third country, not to a country of persecution,he will be permitted to enter the US again???
Another thing, does anybody know how the advance parole look???I mean the refugee travel document is just like a real passport and can actually be used as a passport. So how does that work with an advance parole???
Anyway,if somebody know smth and wants to share his experiences I would be really thankful. That friend of mine does really want to see his family.Let's help him together!!!
