Age Limits in Adoption

Is there any age limit for the adoption in US?

I have heard that american senior citizen can adopt an elder person too?

Is that true? If our uncle doesn't have kids who is living in US then they can adopt us as a family?

Please throw some lights....Senior please express your opinion....

You can only adopt children under 18 years of age.
