  • Business VISA :Employer

    Hello All,

I am currently in Another country working for multinational YYYY company as a seconded employee from my DDDD INDIAN company.
Now my YYYY company asked me to take B1 to visit branch office in US.

I am working as per the policies of YYYY company but my salary was paying by INDIAN company.
So in DS-160 it was asking for the present employer details. So whom should be my current employer? YYYY OR MY INDIAN company?
I can get employee certificate and letters from YYYY company says I am an employee.

Please suggest some experience in this regard.

I'm sensing that, you have to mention DDDD as your employer, since he is paying you.

Let any other senior member confirm this, before filling DS160.

This is my opinion, not a legal advice.
