Can you please help with some questions I have.
We will be sending down 6 of our employees to the Mexicali area for about 6 to 8 weeks. They will not be staying the entire time, but returning home for weekends. They will be assisting in the installation of our equipment at a new plant being built.
They each have their own Passport.
They will be paid by their company in the USA.
They will be staying in a hotel and driving a rental vehicle from the USA.
I have been told that they can get a workers permit for two weeks at the border crossing, what do they need to have to get that permit. Is that permit renewable each time they enter.
I have researched the temporary resident visa, but that really is not what they will be doing and no one will be there a continuous 180 days.
Please review and let me know what my options are to get them in and out of Mexicali to work without any problems.
