B1 visa within a month

Hello,

I want to bring in my friend for a business meeting. He wants to come with his wife, who is also his business partner, and a son who just joined college (still a minor).

Currently the waittimes for B1 seems to be 14 days and for B2 it is 15 days. Will the process complete within a month to get a visa so he can come here within 45 days ?

You are cutting it very close. You might make it depending on your location and luck.
Here's my timeline. I applied in Delhi where I think the interview wait times are much lesser than elsewhere.

Application date + Fee payment date - 7th Feb
MRV Fee payment activation - 13th Feb
Visa appointment date - 27/28 Feb
Visa ready for pickup - 2 Mar
