error in filling vfs for ds-156

hi all,

my vfs receipt lists a given name as a surname. can i still take an appointment inspite of the error in the name and explain in the interview or do i have to get the HDFC bank to change the name/ pay the fees again in the right name.

any body with knowledge about this help me out please.
