  • B1/B2 visa refused under 214b

    I was rejected a visa under 214b.

I had removed my US visa sticker that had a "cancellation without prejudice" stamp from my old passport prior to applying and the CO asked me why I did that, I said "I was afraid it could cause issues while I travel as there is a big cancellation stamp on it". This is the only true and honest answer I have.

How can I re-apply and what justification I could give?

    Rgds,

    Rgds,
Why would you think of damaging a passport or suppressing a valid cancellation done by a authorized personnel? You should not have done that.

You can only re apply and hope the next officer takes a lenient view of this.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
