Can I travel to US on B1 Visa while H1B visa is in process

HI,
My H1B Visa has picked this year and waiting for the approval. Meanwhile, my employer requested me to travel on B1 Visa to meet our customers.

Is it advisable to travel?
In case the H1B petition is approved sometime later in this month or next month or later. Do I need to come back to home country and attend the interview or I can attend in the US itself?

You can't travel on B visa with the intention of changing your status in the United States to H

You must have a plan for bona fide temporary travel. You have to plan to conduct activities that are not potentially definable as work

Yes, you can travel US on B1 Visa while HIB visa is in process.because B1/B2 is non immigrant visa but H1B has dual intent.
