A brief introduction, i am a final year medical student (awaiting result) applied for the visa to attend clinical electives in US. I got nervous in my interview and said that this electives is not related to my course which is a big mistake i know, but now what is done is done. The last question she asked me was have i traveled internationally before which i said no and she nodded in a way that she got disappointed. And in the end she said, i cant give you visa because it is not related, you haven't traveled before and you are doing nothing except waiting for your result. I am writing about this in case any one can give any advise or any idea about what to change in my application or what should i do now. For the background i showed them the letter issued by the hospital for the visa also.
