Hi All,
I have been invited to World Bank Youth Summit and want to attend the conference on B1/B2 visa and also want to take my spouse along with me on B2 Visa. I have once applied for B2 along with my spouse in Jan-2017 where my visa was not approved for both of us. Last time I was asked about my salary while I said was xx lakhs per annum and asked about who will sponsor my trip for which I told that my brother will(He actually was) and my duration of stay as one month. They asked my wife if she was working anywhere, for which she replied that she was not. I realised that I made many mistakes for my last interview
Will it be wise to apply for a B1/B2 Visa for me and B2 for my spouse together or should I apply separately? I work for a Govt PSU and My spouse is an MBBS doctor but currently not working anywhere.
Also, If applying together will my spouse's unemployment affect my chances? How do I convince the officer about B2 for my spouse?
