L1-B got rejected, Applying for B1 Visa..

My L1-B visa got rejected in Aug 2018 and now my organisation is applying for B1. The interview for the same is scheduled on 7th Jan.

I would like to know the chances of getting it through and what are all things to keep in mind.

You are still good. One visa rejection doesn't disqualify you for other visas. Best of luck !!
