Visa for Face - Face final interview round in US

Hello All,

I need to appear for a final face - face interview round in US. This is for a job in India.
I am assuming I will apply for B1 Visa.

- Can someone confirm if B1 is the right Visa category
- Also, what all documents should I take for Visa interview
- Finally, is there a template for invitation letter for this scenario?

This is confusing to me, one cannot give job interview being on B1 visa (strictly prohibited). But since the job location would be in India, it should be allowed.

@Libra_14 Interviewing applicants on a B1 visa is completely fine as long as they are not being paid to do so by a US company, check your facts!

Thanks for the links. Yes it is for the job in India and I just have to travel for a final round.

I would really appreciate if someone can give me some pointers to the template of invitation letter for such a job interview?
