Im a doctor Male ,27 ,doing post graduation,MD Pathology in a Govt Medical College in hyderabad. Im a student member of an American Pathology society and I was invited for their annual conference . so I registered for it . Last time during the visa interview the officer insisted that I sholud have a sponsor, a pharma company or my college . Now I plan to go again for a visa interview. My Head of the department has agreed to sponsor my travel expenses i.e to and fro ticket.
I would like to know , will that be enough if i take a letter from our department saying they are sponsoring my travel or anything more? Also who should this letter be addressed to, I mean it should be a TO WHOME SO EVER IT MAY CONCERN letter?or it must be addressed to the consular officer? I need specific format of this kind of letter. Kindly reply. Thank you.
