Change of Employer B1 visa validity

Hi,

I have got 10 year valid B1/B2 visa. I need to know that if I move over to another employer, can present employer seek cancellation of my B1/B2 visa?

If yes: 1) Can he put application for cancellation of B1/B2 directly to consulate or it has to route thru me ? 2) After cancellation, can my new employer apply H1B / B1 / B2 for me ? (as earlier B1 might have cancelled)

If no,
1) then does it mean that with my new employer I can use existing B1/B2 visa and can even go ahead & file H1B ?

Please reply, as answer to this question would, to certain extent, affect my decision to switch over...

Hi,

Usually, when you get a 10 year multiple entry B1 Visa, it will not carry the annotation of your present company on the VISA.

If you do not have the annotation of your present company, you can move to any other organization. As far as I know, it cannot be cancelled.
